read moreI don’t know too many quilters who don’t fiddle with fabric every chance they get, and I think most of us get a little fidgety if we go too long without touching our fabric stash!
All the designs in this project file would be fairly fiddly to make up, but I guess it would give us an excuse to fiddle with the fabric.
read moreI love fiddling with fabric, making clothes, rag dolls, Christmas tree decorations, even a Christmas tree or two, as well as fiddling with designs for all of the above, and beads and buttons …. a fiddling addict!
Sometimes I actually finish a real quilt, but as I prefer hand work that is not an every day occurrence!
read moreThe colouring and design are both dainty and pretty. I like the mixture of pieced, applique and quilted versions of diamond shapes.
I tried to pick a favourite, and the deciding factor was the size of the finished quilt … the second one would be big enough for our bed, but I could always make the blocks in the first one bigger, so it didn’t really help with the decision.

I started this project file to fiddle with fabrics, but I am starting to fiddle with the blocks more than the fabrics.
read moreI started with Fiddlebobs blocks, and added a handful of pieced blocks, not being sure what might happen with this mixture, but at least the first designs looks OK.
So far, so good!
